Student Senate Worried About Too Much Free Speech On Campus

In 2016, the University of Minnesota’s student senate delayed a bill promoting free speech on campus because it would allow ‘hate speech’ and ‘offensive speech’. The faculty senate supported the resolution, but the resolution was opposed by a graduate council as well as the undergraduate senate.
