Administrator Intimidates Student Reporters

In 2015, several student journalists at Fairmont State University reported on the presence of mold in campus dorms and the university mishandling of the situation. An administrator, J. Robert Baker, allegedly intimidated the reporters for giving the school bad press. Baker also oversaw the budget for the student newspaper, which increased the intimidation. The school later removed Baker from his role after backlash.
