It’s Racist to Commemorate 9/11

In 2015, the University of Minnesota student senate considered a resolution to commemorate the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. However, the student senate voted the resolution down because “opponents argued that such a resolution could stir up racism against Muslim and Middle Eastern students”.
