Threats of Violence Over Sean Spicer

Weeks after the election, University of Chicago’s nonpartisan Institute of Politics planned on hosting press secretary Sean Spicer. Run by David Axelrod, a long-time Democrat strategist, the Institute invites newsmakers of all political stripes to the school for panels and speeches. Many students were upset of the invitation of White House spokesman Sean Spicer that one threated to assault an intern for the Institute. According to the Chicago Maroon, the school’s student newspaper, “fourth-year Terry Hines Jr. commented that he was thinking about ‘beating an iop student intern senseless’ in protest.”
