University Tries To Punish Libertarian Club, Claims Copyright Protection

In 2015, University of California-Davis administrators tried to punish the Ayn Rand Society, claiming that the group violated trademark policy. The group had used the named “Ayn Rand Society at UC Davis” on its club page, which the school said violated policy. However, the school backed down after FIRE intervened.
