School Administrator Blacklists Conservative Media
In 2016, Mitchel Wallerstein, president of Baruch College, warned professors not to answer media requests from conservative media organizations. According to a dean of the college, “Their modus operandi for these outlets is as follows: once they get access to a syllabus that seems to indicate that ‘liberal ideas’ are being taught at that campus, they contact the professor who wrote the syllabus, as well as the provost and the president of the institution, posing as legitimate news organizations”.
