(VIDEO) DePaul Bans Ben Shapiro After School Botches Other Events
In 2016, DePaul University banned the school’s chapter of YAF from hosting Ben Shapiro because he had been protested and caused controversy at other schools. The school also based its claim on the controversy surrounding the cancellation of Milo a few months earlier. However, that was caused by the school’s failure to remove protesters and botching other security concerns. The school told Shapiro he would be arrested if he tried to enter a university building to join Christina Hoff Sommers in speaking, forcing him to speak at an off-campus location.
