Libertarian Professor Battles School Over Bias Response Team

In 2016, South Korean-born University of Oregon professor Kyu Ho Youm decided to take on the school’s Bias Response Team, criticizing its effect on free speech and promoting a big government mentality. Youm, referencing the oppressive political environment he grew up, criticized administrators for pushing the student newspaper to cover ‘marginalized groups’ more after complaints to the Bias Response Team.
