Tarleton State Professors Use Intimidation Against Turning Point USA
In 2016, a professor at Tarleton State was intimidated out of advising a chapter of Turning Point USA by administrators. Eric Morrow, head of Social Sciences, told Turning Point’s advisor and history professor Ted Roberts he could not be an adviser to the group, claiming a non-existent rule about only advising one club at a time (Roberts advised the progressive student group on campus but said he believed in Turning Point’s mission. He had no issue himself advising both clubs, however). The group was later approved.
