School Upset That Mountaineer Mascot Acted Like A Mountaineer

In 2012, school community members at West Virginia University were upset over video of the school mascot hunting a bear with the mascot’s rifle. Jonathan Kimble, the student mascot, had used the rifle to go hunting, which upset some school community members, although the school said he had done nothing illegal or unethical.
