Fordham University Bans Students for Justice in Palestine
Recently, Fordham University, a Catholic university in New York, prohibited Students for Justice in Palestine from becoming officially recognized because it might be ‘polarizing’. Without a hint of irony, the school claimed that the club could not be approved, because doing so, would prevent mutual discussion. However, without official status, the club will have a tougher time bringing speakers to campus and hosting events, which can help promote discussion.
